Natural England have teamed up with the LGiU to investigate the value of walking to health prevention

In 2009 the Local Government Information Unit (LGiU) was commissioned to explore the opportunities and barriers to getting more people walking.

This report brings together evidence and recommendations to encourage investment in walking programmes.The inquiry concluded that walking is the easiest, most accessible, cost effective, and enjoyable way for most people to increase their physical activity.

Thursday night Mountain Bike Skills Training

British Cycling with the support of Active Nation are running MTB skills and fitness sessions on Thursday evenings from 19.00-20.30 with a cost of £2.00 for adults and £1.00 for under 16's.
