Young disabled people across the South now have the opportunity to take part in supervised football sessions and experience the true wonders of the ‘beautiful game’.
The Junior Access Football initiative is a professionally coached, fun and interactive football session delivered by the Kick Start Project and Saints in the Community designed for disabled people aged between 8 and 16 years old. You can now be part of the experience every Friday from the 22nd January 10.00am – 11.15am (school term time only) at just £2 per person per session at Chamberlayne Leisure Centre (Weston Lane, Southampton SO19 9JS). The sessions welcome people with a diverse range of disabilities from across the region. Where possible, Access Football asks players to be accompanied by their carers. There is a maximum limit of 15 customers per session. Each session is structured to ensure fun and enjoyment from all.
