    Join our friendly Health Trainers for a FREE walk at your own pace around Southampton's Central Parks!  Meet at the entrance to Hoglands Park, opposite Debenhams.  Register at the start.  Walk lasts between 30 and 50 minutes.  Hope to see you there!

Archery at Sportathon 2009

Sportathon 2010: a success story!

With 70 activities at 16 venues there was plenty of chance to burn off the calories during The 30 Minute Sportathon on Sunday June 27!

The event was organised by Southampton City Council and sponsored by Southampton NHS Treatment Centre and Wave 105.

Nearly 2,000 people tried out the huge range of activities on offer, which included karate, ultimate frisbee, kayaking, canoeing, badminton, basketball and pilates and lots more!

More than 250 people went on to join local sports clubs or attend regular training sessions following last year’s Sportathon and we hope that 300 new people will join one of their local sports clubs this year.
